The 2022 USSSA Challenge Cup is in its fourth year and features 316 teams playing across 21 divisions in a state vs state format. In its inaugural season (2019) Challenge Cup had 24 teams, in 2020 they had 74 teams, and in 2021 they drew 164 teams.
