Hello fellow Riot Fest enthusiasts! Since I have little professional experience, I wasn't able to get a press pass for Riot Fest to take photos on a fancy camera. Policy is no cameras with removable lenses allowed, so I was limited to just a point-and-shoot zoom lens.That band is hardly the first one to do that. If there is fall out, shame on riot fest. Ive been to at least 3 different shows where the band has done that, and yeah the crowd took over the stage with the band. No one ever got hurt or caused problems. At Riot usually the headliners play 1 hour 15 minutes, with some exception playing an hour and 30 or even 2 hours. I bet MCR would be something between 1.15 and 1.30, but anyway its going to be amazing as Riot Fest has really good vibe, if you can you should even get a 3 day pass :D IIRC it was $7 or $8 for a beer, and might have been the same for the Strongbow cider as well.
