Mdt xrs vs krg bravo

I have run my MTR in both the KRG Bravo and MDT XRS. For bench work I prefer the MDT. Both have adjustable combs but the MDT starts in a lower position. If you look at pictures of the KRG you'll see a cutout for bolt removal. MDT doesn't need this because of the lower comb. For me this means less cheek on the stock which is good from the bench.

I like the xray grip better as it gives more control when moving with the weapon. However the ergos of the buttstock/comb are definitely more tactical/prs oriented. If you already shoot with a chassis a lot, it may not feel much different.

You could probably get two latches from them and cut one down for AW mags and then save the other for AICS. MDT makes great stuff, but it’s hard to beat the sheer amount of Lego you can play with KRG stuff. IMO the bravo vs the XRS is the better comparison. Having had both I wouldn’t choose the bravo again despite the XRS being a bit more expensive. I haven’t used the field stock, but KRG Bravo is a great chassis for the money.

The palm swell of the grip is smaller and distance from the front of the vertical grip to the trigger is shorter than the Bravo.
