Apr 19, 2017 / Vapor lock. #1. I have an older Craftsman push mower that starts first pull and runs great, until I turn it off after maybe 20-30 minutes use. Then it won't restart for at least 20 minutes or longer, it has done this for years. It doesn't usually happen until the outside temperature is above maybe 75 degrees.
