Jeep jk running hot

Decided to replace thermostat. Put new Mopar thermostat in, and the JK still runs at 220 on average. Took JK to my other mechanic. He did some research and found that drilling a 1/8" hole in thermostat will allow Jeep to run cooler. Decided to drill hole. The Jeep is still running hot. About 220. Took the JK back to the dealer.

If your temp gauge is showing that it is not over-heating, I wouldn't worry too much about it. This is how I found out mine was leaking:Chrysler immediately said that the issue was due to a crack in the thermostat housing that was bleeding coolant back into the core.
