I need a fix or a patch because I had many days off lined to play this game again and now I don't even think it is possible as the relic malfunction ...

What I did to fix it for me, was complete the initial blue text dialogue with Johny outside the elevator after I exited Clouds for Automatic Love. I went into the elevator, took it down and the relic started malfunctioning making the screen glitch out.
